Devised Work
Tuesday 18 August, 4.00pm - 6.00pm
Where: Zoom virtual meeting
Kirsty Housley is a theatre maker with a focus on collaborative and devised work. This session will focus on the role of director in a devised making process.
- How do you start when you’re starting from nothing?
- What practical exercises can you use to ensure that your ideas flourish?
- How do you create work from an idea not a story?
- And how do you carve out the space to create this work in an industry that expects a different process/timeline?
This session is aimed at directors, theatremakers and designers of all levels wishing to deepen and expand their practice.
