Grahame will be profoundly missed by all at RTYDS. He contributed to the company’s work over 14 years first as a consultant then as a mentor and later as Chair of the Board from 2014 to 2023. He saw RTYDS go from a single strand scheme to a multi-faceted programme that supported over 150 artists and worked with around 20 theatres and companies each year. His vast sector knowledge was vital in securing NPO funding in 2018 and his commitment to making theatre more equitable and representative was boundless.
Grahame led the RTYDS Board of Trustees with his characteristically kind and warm style. We will miss him but always remember the impact he had on RTYDS as an organisation and the team who benefited from his advice and knowledge.
